A big dream is being worked on… opening a beauty/hair salon in Surkhet – Nepal.

After our last project in Surkhet 2023, we had a meeting with Maggie (founder of the Blink Now organization) and her team to take one step further after 3 successful programs together. We have noticed that there is lots of interest in the beauty sector and that many women after participating in our training programs and the women centers parlor training are fully prepared as the best beauticians and hairdressers in town. Within a growing city like Surkhet there are definitely opportunities to dream bigger, and are the ideas of opening a Blink Now salon in collaboration with Hairdressers Without Borders a natural step to take.
All of this takes of course some time and organization to realise this dream… but we are working on it.
